Canal trips in Amsterdam

There are some beautiful canal cruises and tours and excursions in Amsterdam. And while sightseeing Amsterdam, it’s highly recommended that you take these tours:

The #1 Canal Cruise

This canal cruise will introduce you to all the city’s waterside highlights. The audio guide is translated in 19 languages and you can enjoy them in whichever language you want to. And the earphones you’ll wear are disposable, so you can just toss them into trash afterwards. It takes an hour and it costs 15. 50 euros for adults and 7. 75 euros for children 4-12 years old and it is from 10:00 till 18:00.

Hop On, Hop Off Canal Bus

The canal bus is the ideal transport between the canals. You can see all the highlights of the city. The beauty of the Hop On, Hop Off Canal Bus is, that you can hop on and hop off on at as many stops as you like. You can get a day ticket, which costs 22. 00 euros and 11. 00 euros for children 4-12 years old, there is a 24 hours ticket, which costs slightly more - it’s 24. 00 euros and 12. 00 euros for children. And then there is 48 hours ticket, which costs 34. 00 euros for adults and 17. 00 euros for children. The canal bus works daily from 10:00 to 18:00.

Evening Cruise

During the evening, the illuminated buildings, bridges and houseboats give the city a very special appearance. And it's best seen from the water. Find out yourself why the canals of Amsterdam have been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. The Evening Cruise costs 15. 50 euros and it works daily 12:00-21:00, approximately in every 30 minutes. The duration is about 1 hour.

Pizza Cruise

Your favourite pizza will be delivered on board as you cruise along the canals. You can enjoy your pizza and drinks while cruising around canals. There will even be some ice-cream from Ben & Jerry’s! The cruise costs 37. 50 euros and it’s 20. 00 euros for children 4-12 years. Its duration is one and a half an hour.

Dutch Candlelight Cruise

With this cruise, you can enjoy Dutch artisanal cheeses from the cheesemaker Henri Willig and some tasty wines, while sightseeing the city of Amsterdam. It costs 37. 50 euros for adults and 25. 00 euros for children. It is daily at 20. 00, the only exclusion is the 31-st of December. And its duration is 2 hours.

Cocktail Cruise

On this cruise you are served with different delicious cocktails with homemade snacks, which only makes your journey through Amsterdam canals even more memorable. The cruise costs 37. 50 euros for adults and 25. 00 euros for children. You can take it any day at 20:00, but not on December 31-st! And it lasts for 2 hours.
