What is it like to live in Almere? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
I grew up in Almere, and I really liked it. It has a beautiful city centre, really modern. But Almere is a really young city, so it is impossible to find old architecture ;)
What places would you recommend visiting in Almere?
The roof terrace of the shop called V&D in the city centre: from there you can see the city/village on top of the shops.
The art centre at the water called 'weerwater'. Spectacular architecture!! And a really nice and calming place to be. If you get the chance to see a performance there, you should go for it: the theatres are beautiful too.
