Live in Albacete, Spain by Amparo
What is it like to live in Albacete? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Living in Albacete is very comfortable because it's a small and peaceful city.
Albacete is a modern city but also has some historical buildings in the center of the city, and some parks where people usually go to pass the time.
People here are very friendly and they will help you in everything you need.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Albacete? Is there any advice you can give?
No, it isn't. In the campus there are some student housing and many billboards offering shared flats. You also can contact with the ESN or the ORI: they will help you to find accommodation.
Is it good to eat out in Albacete? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Here the typical is the 'tapeo': in every bar with your drinking they will give you one "tapa".
From April to June there are 'casetas', which are open air bars where is typical to eat Manchegan food.
Is the nightlife good in Albacete? Where is good to go?
You can find a lot of different kinds of pubs to go out. I prefer 'Velouria' and 'La Fábrica'.
If you want to go to some peaceful place to have a beer, my favorite place is 'Indiano'.
