Why did you choose to go to Aix-en-Provence, France?

Because I want to experience life in a small "studet city" and also because I thought it would be cheaper than a big city.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I was there for one year and I received the Erasmus grant, which is 300 euros per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Aix-en-Provence?

It depends. If you have a good budget it can be amazing but since the city it quiet expensive you can not afford to do many things, however in overall its good.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Aix-en-Provence to other students?

I would say that if you are looking for a nice weather and if you like to live in a small city, yes, but me personally I'd rather live in Marseille.

What is the food like?

You can find anything you like.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Aix-en-Provence?

I live in a student accommodation which I applied for before my mobility through the host university.

How much does it cost to live in Aix-en-Provence?

It depends of your life style.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are many courses for foreign students but the most important thing is to talk and socialise with French students or outside the university.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Aix-en-Provence from your city?

From Rome by plane. However some flights can be cheaper from the airport of Marseille so I would take this in consideration as well.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Aix-en-Provence?

Expresso, IPN, Pintox...

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The whole city is lovely.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Aix-en-Provence in the future?

Try to enjoy your best. However, it is expensive, so you should look for a job.
