How look life in Agadir ?
Agadir is a city in the southwest of Morocco in the Atlantic Ocean, it’s a big city and it the economic city of the area around it. It has so many traditional markets ( we call them SOUK in Arabic ) the biggest one is Souk El Had, it’s a huge traditional market having 15 doors. People in Agadir are Amazigh, in the past they were speaking the soussi language only, but with the development, now they are more open. Agadir population is famous in Morocco that they are so kind and friendly, if you are not Moroccan and you need help there, you must ask young people because they are English speakers.

Foods and drinks :
If you visit Agadir I recommend to you to eat fish more than anything else, because it’s fresh from the ocean of Agadir and cheap comparing to fish in other cities of Morocco. In a normal restaurant you can eat a good meal of mixed fried fish containing (the squid, Sepia (kind of the cuttlefish), shrimp, whiting fish, sole fish and some other kind of good fish) with à price between 5euros to 8 euros manimum. And also you can have a full plate of delicious Moroccan sardine with a price between 1 euro to 2 euros.
They prepare a traditional breed named (Tafernat) they don’t cook it on fire, they do that just on putting it up of very hot stones, and they don’t use additive in its preparation.
Accommodation :
Agadir in one of the most touristic cities in Morocco, so it has so many hotels and hostels that you can find easily in internet or in Hosteling applications. And you can also rent houses or apartments directly from their owners. Prices are variables following the quality of the flat and also its distance from the beach and the city Centre. It starts from 15 euros and can go until 200 euros or more per person per night.
You can also find some hostels made in the traditional way, where you can live for some days to feel the traditional life of Agadir people in the past, I let the picture below explain more.
Transport :
Agadir city has a great bus connection, and so many taxis, (In all Morocco the strongest transport is taxis and buses) but even that it’s a huge city, still doesn’t have Metro or Tramway. But you will not have a problem to use busses or Taxis because they are so many, cheap and their drivers are English speakers.
The Nature in Agadir :
The nature is totally amazing, because in Agadir there is Atlas mountains in a side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other one, so if you like the beach or tripping in mountains you will love to visit this city, I loved also the weather which was always fine and the temperature was always between 24 to 27 C, for me the weather was also fun to practice my two favorite hobbies which are fishing and swimming. and also i can't describe the beauty of the sunset from this beach.

Some associations caring about animals, made a small reserve of birds in the city centre for some beautiful birds, to increase their number, but it’s an open reserve where people can go to see the beauty of these animals and pay some money that help in protecting them, in the pictures below I share with you some birds that I loved from there. I share in the pictures below some amazing birds I saw there.
