What is it like to live in Adapazari? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Adapazarı is a small city among other cities in Turkey. Despite it is small you can experience many fun there. Especially if you like nature, probably you are going to be in love with that city. Green color is different in this city. People of Adapazarı are conservative but helpful people. You should focus on Sapanca Lake and if you study campus of Sakarya University you are really lucky. Because everyday when you go to school you are going to see Sapanca lake under your feets. In addition to these Adapazarı is really closed to İstanbul and Bursa which are big cities in Turkey.

What is the student lifestyle like in Adapazari?

Student lifestyle in Adapazarı is better today. You can have much more fun than we have in past. Serdivan region in Adapazarı is well developed for students and the prices are good. You should attend a club at university like cycling or trekking and you should live beauties !

How much does it cost to live in Adapazari?

Adapazarı is really cheap. My hometown is Bursa. So when I compare with Bursa, Adapazarı is cheaper. And one speciality for Adapazarı is most of the people have a village or land to cultivate. So foods are probably going to be organic.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Adapazari? Is there any advice you can give?

If you are going to study Sakarya University campus you should choose to live near Campus or "Mavi Durak(blue station)" region...

I do not have any special,favourite dish.

Is it good to eat out in Adapazari? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

In Mavi Durak you should go to "Mavi Durak Izgara" at the corner. You can find it easily. It has delicious foods. And also you should try "Polatlar" kebap restaurant and you should eat "Lahmacun" there. When you go on through the street you go to "Tostçu Nevzat" :D

Is the nightlife good in Adapazari? Where is good to go?

In Mavi Durak nightlife is good but there is no party clubs there.

What advice would you give future students heading to Adapazari?

If you are coming from a big city you can have trouble to get used that city. Because there is no so much thing to do. For example it has no Lunapark...
