Visit of the Oceanogràfic

I know you're probably all thinking "Where did Billy go this past week? ". Well my first class trip to Spain started on the 5th. There has been much effort in getting all my classes organized and establishing myself as a student at the UPV. I have been spending a lot of time with my new friends from Germany and England along with my flatmates from England and Belgium. We went to the beach, went out for montaditos (small sandwiches for only 1 euro each), as well as the Oceanogràfic. It's been a busy week and it flew by - can't believe I left home 2 weeks ago!

Anyway, I visited the City of the Arts and Sciences yesterday with my friends Martin and Katharina from Germany. I arrived there at 10 am and took some photos of the great architecture. Here's a 180-degree view of one of the buildings surrounded by pools.

Then at 11 am, we all met at the Oceanogràfic, which is basically a very large aquarium. We immediately saw the dolphin show at noon and then ventured around to all the different buildings and tunnels.

And lastly, here is a picture of me, Katharina, and Martin from our day at the Oceanogràfic. It was pretty hot, but we still had a great time!
