Friendly Brazilian looking for appartment in Rotterdam

Hi,
I am a brazilian student that will spend one year studing Urban Planning at the Erasmus University and I am looking for a place to stay. If it is possible a room in Kralinger or Centruum would be nice.
I am an easy going guy, who really enjoys to travel and going out.
As I am staying in Rotterdam for a whole year and I am not only looking for a room to stay, but I am looking for a nice place with nice roomates, who like to do things together, to go out, to have dinner an drink a couple of beers.
The max amount I can spend is about 550 euros per month, all bills included and I want to rent the appartment as soon as possible, because my classes starts on 1st of September. An important think is that I need to register at the city hall.
I am already in Rotterdam and able to visit as soon as possible.
