20 year old Student from Scotland looking for accommodation in Munich

Hallo!

My name is Brodie and I am an exchange student coming from Scotland to study engineering at TUM for a year. I am really looking forward to living in Munich however I am starting to get worried that I might not find anywhere to stay. I was hoping to find an apartment located not to far from TUM but other than that I am very flexible on almost everything else.

I would ideally be looking to move in before the 28th of September as that is when my intensive German language course begins. On the subject of German I do already speak a little however I am really hoping to improve this over the next year and I think living with some native German speakers would be a great way to do this.

Just to let you know a few things about me, I enjoy playing almost all sport although I mainly play rugby back home in Scotland. I very much enjoy meeting up with people and going out for some beers and it would be great if I could find an apartment with some people who would be fun to hang out with. I don't know what the night life is like in Munich although I am very interested to find out. :P In terms of day to day life I normally end up having a lot of university work to do but I am always happy to ignore it if anyone has something fun planned. I'm also very clean so that wouldn't be something you have to worry about if I were to move in. I don't really know if ever put the correct information in these things so please get in touch at any time if you need to know more.
