Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
yes. But it's still hard to catch for Asian people.

The Museum Night! that's an great activity. pay atention to their posts.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Brussels?
School dinners in both VUB and ULB are good.
And if you know the weekend bull market, you'll find a place to eat fresh seafood! Very very very delicious!
