Why did you choose to go to Brussels, Belgium?

I got the internship in European Commission and their selection procedure is very rigorous. It was an offer I could not refuse it helped a lot with my professional life

It was a paid internship lasted in duration of 5 months, renumerated with around 1000 Euros per month.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Brussels to other students?

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Brussels?

Accommodation in Brussels is expensive when comparing to other cities. Due to big number of interns and temporary experts residing in Brussels the landloards can allow themselves putting higher prices on the rent.
I found accommodation after a month of online sarch.

How much does it cost to live in Brussels?

Decent room in a decent part of the city costs around 450 - 550 Euros per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?

Brussels is an international city where everybody speaks English and it's full of foreign experts so any language is more or less normal to hear on the street, especially Italian and Spanish.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Brussels from your city?

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Brussels?

Center of the city when going for a beer.
