Hi everyone !!!!
I'm Belgian, and the two last year I was at school in Liège, and in september, I'll go in Matosinhos, in Portugal.
So, if I can help some people who go in Liège in september for some information, it's with pleasure !

-->And I would like to tell you the adress of very nice coffee bar :o)
There aren't only the many coffees in the famous streets called "le Carré", where it's true there are parties every night, until 7 o clock of the morning, but the music is quite commercial and the population is sometimes too young, or too "fashion".
So, I know different coffee, for those people who like meeting interesting people, sometimes old persons with good stories, or young people completely crazy, but lovely! or some artist, etc...
And music is very good !!!
There is the coffee called "The Senor Duck", and the other one "La casa Ponton", in a little old street called "En neuvice", in the center.
The first one is in a old house from 17 century, on saturdays there're sometimes little concert, and there're special belgian beer, mmmmhhh :D !!!
and the second one is cheaper, and the music is ...ouaaaaah, like gypsie music on friday (Emir Kusturika,...) (because this day it's a barman who like take time to choose good music)
and if you have seen the belgian-french movie called in french "Jeux d'enfants", there is one scene which has done there !
Or in an other little old street called "En roture", there is a flowered place, there's "le Tipi" with concerts, and right at side, the very old coffee called "Le petit bougna"...all a sympathetic atmosphere to discover !
(sory for my not very good english ;p )
I hope you will enjoy Liège like me, and you'll visit these very great coffees :o)

hey guys, I am spending (for my food) 90 euros every month. At the university, I bring my sandwiches so I don't spend money to the cafeteria. I just buy sometimes a soup.

Hey,
I'm coming to Liege in februari, for 3 months. Is it easy to find a kot for that period? I have a kot in the city where I studie now (Leuven - Belgium) maybe I can exchange it? I studie for nurse and I have to do 'stage' at CHU. Sar Tilman is close to that no? But indeed far from 'le carré' :)
