- Post Graduate Law degree (GDL, LPC) and Masters in Law (LLM)

ABOUT

I am a qualified lawyer in London and a passionate English language tutor at the same time. Languages and teaching are my passion.

Highly motivated, patient, kind, hard-working native British speaker with professional manner.

I teach all levels and ages via Zoom (or by phone / Skype etc as convenient).

- Pronunciation (including accent reduction, natural BBC English, thorough explanation of phonetics and jaw and tongue positioning if helpful)

For all of the above, my students can choose topics or materials, or I can suggest appropriate topics and materials, and we can have an open discussion and monitoring of materials.

- Interview Practice (Oxbridge / Russel Group Universities, Law Schools, Law Firms, Corporate Organisations) (I have first-hand experience of the Oxbridge interview process and the interview process for Magic Circle, Silver Circle, US Firms and in-house legal departments in multinational companies)

- Language Masters and and an active learner of many languages (German, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) - I have a good grounding in the mechanics of effective language acquisition, as well as a deep understanding of what makes for an effective teacher.
- Practising lawyer (Finance, Commercial, Litigation, Public Law), I have experience and knowledge of business, professional, legal, finance, and public law-English. I have experience of assisting clients whose mother tongue is not English.
- Open, professional and approachable. Have lived, worked and studied in many countries (Asia, Europe, Latin America) with people from all industries, backgrounds and walks of life.

- I have a current valid DBS certificate (criminal records check)
- I am currently enrolled with the Solicitors Regulation Authority and have a current legal practising certificate
