TEFL teacher, native speaker, residing in Istanbul

I moved to Istanbul in July 2020 because I fell in love with Turkey; the people, culture, Turkish Patriotism, importance of family and community, and of course, the food!

I love to teach English because it is my way of helping Turkey become a stronger competitor in the global market. It also helps the Turkish people become more prosperous and have a better future.

My main goal is to get my students to enjoy and become confident in Speaking and Listening to English. I help my students live with the language as they learn it.

I have 8 years Special Education teaching experience in the US public education system with children ages 6- 17. I have been a Private Tutor in Istanbul for almost a year. My students are of all ages, from 5 to 50.

I have a strong science background. I can help you with Science in English.

I have an AS degree in Education, a BA degree in Biological Psychology, and 8 years experience in Petrochemical Research and Development.

I am also the author of 2 US patents.

I’m starting to learn Turkish, and I speak some Spanish.
