Hello! My name is Maria and I’ve been teaching English for almost 15 years. I started teaching one-to-one lessons while still being a student of English Language and Literature in university. After graduating, I had the chance to teach in various environments in Greece, ranging from children’s classes to adults’ ESP and ESOL lessons. Completing my MA in English Language Teaching at King’s College London made me look for a position in summer schools in the UK and after a few years working there as a teacher, I managed to become a Director of Studies. However, during the past few years I’ve focused on exam classes (Cambridge FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS, and also TOEFL, TOEIC, ECCE and ECPE). I’ve always found exam preparation a challenge and I’m intrigued and motivated to adjust my lessons according to my students’ needs and to do whatever possible to secure my students’ success!
