I’m Veronica - Hello!

Successful English communication has been at the centre of my professional life for over 20 years. Alongside writing and editing, I have taught and designed English courses for learners in the UK, Europe, Asia, Africa and South America, working online and face to face with individuals, companies, colleges and schools.

Experience, as a teacher and a former IELTS examiner, has shaped my dynamic, adaptive teaching approach and defined my strengths. I specialise in leading motivated adults and young adults from Intermediate [B2] level to proficient English fluency [C1 / C2.

The focus is on each student's individual goals and needs with the aim of building confidence, understanding and accuracy. At the same time, we will extend the range of your language structures, idioms and vocabulary for academic, professional and wider social contexts.

As a native English speaker, with no regional accent, I work with learners on pronunciation, stress and natural intonation. In addition, I offer specialised coaching in public speaking skills.

Similarly, I guide students to success in English language tests [IELTS | Cambridge | Trinity] as well as in formal professional assessments. In all cases. the spotlight is on structured preparation, practice, appraisal and clear feedback.

The free Introduction Session - Skype 30 minutes - is the time for us to chat about your language needs and, importantly, it is your chance to ask about me and how I teach.
