Modern and ancient Greek tutor with 8 years of experience

Hello, My name is Giannis Silligardakis and I am a Greek teacher and linguist. I was born in the Greek island of Crete and speak Modern Greek as my native language I have studied Ancient Greek history and language in university, which gives me an extensive knowledge of both the Greek language and culture past and present. I also have experience offering Ancient Greek lessons to high school students and I have spent a number of years teaching Modern Greek to foreigners who immigrated to Crete. I enjoy sharing my language and culture with others and whether it is for the purpose of connecting with the past by learning to read Ancient Greek texts or immersing oneself into the Modern Greek culture by speaking to locals in Greece, I am excited for the opportunity to help others improve their Greek language skills online so that they can achieve whatever goals they are pursue with the language.
