The EUH-E has succeeded in assembling a team of very good academic staff, complemented by specialists and practitioners working in the uniformed services and public administration.
This degree course of internal security undoubtedly offers prospects for the future, and experts in this field are demended on the labour market.
Graduates of the internal security faculties are able to solve professional challenges, have the ability to communicate with the environment at work, use the available means of information efficiently and actively participate in group work, and are able to plan their own lifelong learning.
The current curriculum provides the acquisition of basic knowledge, practical skills and social competences in the field of social sciences with a focus on the discipline of security science with reference to classes presenting other disciplines, which is a necessary condition for a complete and holistic education in the field of internal security and is conditioned by the expectations of employers, students and graduates.
Classes are led in a non-stationary (extramural) system. Duration: 6 semesters.
The range covers, among others, the following contents: fighting crime, criminology and forensics, security in public transport and communication, protection of people, property, objects and space, criminal law, theory, policy and strategy of security and public safety.
The classes are taught by specialists dealing with internal security issues, including experts from various inspections and services, such as the army, police and crisis management headquarters and others.
A graduate obtains a bachelor's degree in the field of internal security and they are prepared to take up a professional career or a second degree (master's) and postgraduate studies.
