I am interested in living with other erasmus students. I am going to study at CUNEF, a Complutense faculty, from September until February. I planned to go somewhere in the first week op September to look for housing

Hi everybody! I am Fran from Madrid. I live here and as you I will go Erasmus to Ancona (Italy) next year. As I know because I am in the same situation like you and having to do the same things you will have to do here, you may have some doubts about what choice will be better or some things will want to know about the city.
People who are going to be there next year are getting in touch by msn or "Tuenti"(it is like Spanish facebook, many of you will have it here I am sure jaja),and I think it will be much better than leaving messages here!

Improve your Spanish if you need it, here we are not very good at languages as you know jajaja.
You will spend a great experience here, I have met many Erasmus and they do not want to come back to their countries jajaja.

What you suggest to do? I've an exam on the 14th july, one on the 3rd september and the last on the 16th september.... should I try to get a flight and check for a flat in Madrid this summer or to stay quiet, and leave after my exam here in Italy on the 20th september staying in a motel while founding a flat?! I'm getting worried!

the better thing to do is to go there this summer and find a flat otherwise you'll gonna pay more i think...

Hi! I'm coming to study at Complutense in February 2011, for one semester. There are 7 months left and I can't wait to have a nice erasmus experience. I will be studying political sciences and history.
Recently, I watched a movie about a student who goes in Barcelona on his Erasmus year which I warmly recommend - it is called "L'auberge espagnole". It's not about Madrid, but you will definitely like it and you'll get the picture about the whole erasmus thing. :) I sure did!
