This is the place where Erasmus students, or any exchange students, that are headed for Athens in 2013 / 2014 can introduce themselves and get to know one another before they arrive. Introduce yourself to the forum and ask any questions you may have about the city, the University, where to stay, where to eat, the prices and cost of living in Athens, places for Erasmus parties or any other question you may habe. Here you can also find:

Warning! If you want to advertise an accommodation or your are looking for one... the forum is not the place for doing that. In order to advertise your accommodation in Athens or in order to find roommates don’t use this forum, go to the accommodation section of Athens.

Livin' la vida Erasmus!

Hi there!

I'm Yasemin. I want to come to Panteion University in next year with Erasmus. But I wonder if  is  there any action in Athens because of crisis? The Erasmus office that in my school said me sometimes the universities in Athens can be closed. Is it true? Also I want to come in spring semester (2014) until the that time how will be crisis in Greece?

I expect your good news! :)

hey yasemin!i'm erasmus in izmir right now and i study in panteion communication and media!well don't be afraid of athens.yes sometimes universities can be closed(for a time like 2weeks) as a demonstration against to some political-financial changes but in the other hand, greek universities and especially panteion are really good and with high level of education.furthermore athens is a great city for going out etc. ask whatever you want,if you come next year i can help you because i will be an erasmus buddy also!gule gule :)

Hi!

My name is Valentin, I am a french student and I am also going to spend the next year in Athens with Erasmus at the Panteion University. I thought it might be a good idea to post something on this forum in order to know other erasmus mates before the beginning of the school year :) I do have thousands of questions about next year and I am looking for other students who could, maybe, answer it :)

I have already contacted the Facebook group for erasmus students in Panteion (ESN-Panteion-Athens) and I encourage you Yasemin to do so :)

Cheers :)

Hi !! I'm italian, from the university of architecture in alghero, sardegna... I will go with a friend in the NTUA university in the spring semester. We would like to share an apartment whit others students :)

Hi, I'm about to study in Panteion, but are the courses are in english ? When I ask for, nobody answer. Then, who is interested to share a flat ? Cheers !

Hello Mellissa, i'll go in a few days to panteion university in the first

semester, and for all I know the classes are in Greek.

if you require any further information, feel free to contact me :)

By the way, if you go to Panteion you don't have free accomodation ?

I don't know, I think I'll choose to share an appartment with others erasmus. So, how do you do to study ? There are no courses, only exams ?

The evaluation is done through works in English that we have to deliver  ;) in my department is like that :)

http://greek-erasmus.blogspot.com <- all you need to know about your stay in Greece

For all the students who go Athens, do you still go there despite all the events which are appening (closing of universities, ... ) ?

Some of foreigners students had to go back home without get their ECTS because they hadn't any courses there,

I just want to prevent you for that, know if your own university has closed the departures for this destination, and what's your point of vue about that,

Cheers
