Overview

Growing businesses need to adapt to environmental and technological changes. This major prepares students for the challenges of establishing and growing a business in today’s dynamic climate. EU will help students build the framework for their new venture and provide them with the skills necessary to become an entrepreneurial leader. Students will develop key capabilities for success in the areas of new product and service development as well as small and family business management.

Degree Awarded

A university master’s degree awarded by Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), (título propio), a state-recognized university in Spain.

A master's degree from EU Business School Switzerland which is internationally accredited by ACBSP, IACBE, IQA and certified by eduQua.

Dual Qualification

Students studying an EU MBA program have the opportunity to earn a second distinct qualification, a state-accredited degree from the London Metropolitan University, U. K. Students with less than two years' professional experience may earn a U. K. state-accredited MSc in International Management while students with more than two years' experience may earn a U. K. state-accredited MBA. For both degrees, students are required to complete 120 ECTS. This is achieved through the completion of a final EU business competency simulation and a University of Roehampton dissertation in addition to the regular EU MBA coursework. Both qualifications can be earned in one year of full-time study or two years, part-time.

Program Structure

The MBA in Entrepreneurship (90 ECTS) is a one-year, three-term degree. Students complete five to six course modules per term which are combined with seminars, company visits, guest speaker sessions and case studies among others. In order to graduate, students must complete a management research methods module and a dissertation. This program is also available as a two-year, six-term, part-time degree.

Learning Outcomes

Students gain the knowledge necessary to become successful entrepreneurs, through case study research, company visits and networking, in addition to the managerial training they receive in a classroom setting. Students will also:

  • Consider potential challenges in the interaction of management and ownership.
  • Learn how to bring about change by carefully managing people and information.
  • Understand the different innovation models for startups, existing organizations, multinational corporations and global networks.
  • Discover cutting-edge thinking and best practices into new product development.

Business Development Director

Business development directors will drive the organization’s sales by increasing its client portfolio and penetrating new markets. They are tasked with sourcing new clients and developing current relationships for business opportunities. They have a strong understanding of the company’s products and markets and will help establish long-term business relationships for business longevity.

Senior Product Manager

Senior product managers work with product managers within the marketing department of an organization. They are in charge of the marketing actions of a specific product or product line and will ensure that it meets pre-established objectives set by management within a predetermined budget.

Marketing Research Analyst

Market research analysts study market conditions to examine potential sales of a product or service. They help companies understand what products people want, who will buy them, and at what price.

Management Analyst

A management analyst, also referred to as a management consultant, investigates ways to assist organizations in reducing costs, increasing revenue, and becoming more profitable. They advise management on various ways to improve efficiency. Many management analysts work as consultants.
