Today, the strategic role of Corporate Finance has become increasingly important due to the greater attention that managers dedicate to raising capital, financial planning, risk management and investment activities.
The Major in Corporate Finance prepares students to deal with complex financial challenges, providing solid technical knowledge and skills as well as the transversal competencies required in the current financial environment. Participants will acquire a thorough knowledge of the conceptual and empirical tools needed to respond to emerging financial challenges.
The aim of the programme is to shape young professionals who want to pursue a career in corporate finance divisions of large firms, in investment banking divisions of financial institutions or in financial consulting firms.
Diploma and ECTS
The Master in Financial Management – Major in Corporate Finance is a one-year Master of Science equivalent to “Master Universitario di I livello” in accordance with the Italian university system. It provides students with at least 60 ECTS – European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System. At the end of the Programme, the Master’s Diploma “Master Universitario di I livello” will be conferred to participants who have passed exams or others assessment tests envisaged in the study program.

The Major in Corporate Finance is aimed at recent graduates — or those graduating soon — with a BA or a MS in Economics or other scientific disciplines.

Induction week
The induction week is an introductive week to the Major in Corporate Finance during which students can settle in and familiarise themselves with life on campus. Ice-breaking labs, seminars, workshops, and presentations allow students to meet their classmates and get a better idea of the services offered by Luiss Business School, as well as curricular and extracurricular activities.
