Hi people
As everybody I´m going to Liege on September, I´d like to know some people with different points of view about Liege and some information about the university atmosphere and the renting of rooms as well. I´m going to study in Faculte de Lettres which is on the centre of the ville. I can see the most of people is going to arrive on August or even before...When the courses starts?
Thank you so much....I´m waiting for your news.....

On the university website ulg.ac.be then click on the tab for an international student. now click on the tab of "erasmus in"
There will be a spot that says language requirements. If you scroll down, you will find the preparatory course. I believe it runs Ausust 29 through September 9. There is an additional course which runs all year also. Hope this helps.

Hi there! My name is Lis and I'll be arriving in Liège in September (maybe the end of August) and I'll leave by the end of Januay. I'm doing my third year of Translation and Interpretation in French. I am looking for an accomodation, but the research on the internet is always so confusing... Do you guys know what's the difference between a kot and a shared flat? I'll stay only for the first semester, so if anyone is in the same situation and is also looking for a place to stay, please let me know, maybe we can help each other!
Hope to see you soon =)

Hi all!My name is Marie-Theres and I'm arriving by the end of august (and I'm going to stay the whole year)
@ bryanna do you know if we have to register for the 2 week french course? I didn't really find out if there's an extra registration for this course.
Has anyone of you already tried finding a KOT by ESN? or knows somebody who did?
Laura Crestani Scritto 13 anni fa
I'm looking for a kot, too. I filled the ESN form but they haven't answer me, yet. So I think that i' m going to Liège in august to find a room because I talked with a girl who stayed there the last year and she said to me that's better going there to find something..If anyone thinks to go there in August or anyone wants to find a room with me..contact me!!:)

Marie, I asked my advisor about the French course. She said we do have to register through the University in Liege, but I have not completed it yet. I do know it is free. I hope to complete that task before I arrive. I just completed the rigorous VISA application. I am arriving in Liege a few days before the French class begins because I know we have to register with the government and a few other things also. Perhaps if you are arriving at the same time, we can do some of these things together.

Laura, Im going to do the same thing!! In August I will be there looking for a kot! Its hard to try to close a deal just by phone and by email....

hey guys
im already finishing my erasmus in Liege so if you have any questions im here to help - let me just tell you that if i were you i wouldnt count so much on ESN finding the kot because they dont have too many of them!
any other questions not connected with kot - just ask :)
Claudia-Mihaela FLOREA Scritto 13 anni fa
Michal which university were you studying and in what field?
I will study Communication in Jemeppe at HEPL. Is city-centre of Liege far from Jemeppe? I would like to rent a kot in the city-centre of Liege and that's why I'm asking.
Hope you had a great Erasmus experience.
Have a nice day!
Claudia from Romanika :))
