I'm Amaury, I am a 24-year-old student of Photography at the Karel de Grote Hogeschool in Antwerp, Belgium. For my final project, I'm making a move for Porto and the IPP-ESMAE. I will be staying in Porto from mid-february until early june or even early july. The city of Porto and its fine architecture and infrastructure will be the subject or at least the background of my final project, which will be something conceptual involving landscapes and time.

I am currently looking for a room for rent in Porto, preferably with one or more roommates in an apartment in Central Porto (somewhere around Alliados, Trinidade, Bolhao,...). A mixed crowd of Portuguese and Erasmus people, doesn't really matter, as long as the atmosphere is good and easy-going. My native language is Dutch and I'm pretty fluent in English en quite alright with French. I hardly know a word of Portuguese I must admit, though. On a personal level: I am clean, don't smoke, like cooking (together), love cocooning with friends and watching films and series, but also enjoy a night on the town every once in a while.

I also really enjoy running. If anyone's got any tips on where there are good places to run a couple of km's without too much traffic to consider, I'm all ears!

If anyone can help me out with finding accomodation, showing the best architectural hotspots of the city and/or learning the basics of the Portuguese language, please contact me!

Can't wait to get settled in Porto, yay ^_^

Hey there!

I'm Nils, a 29 year old sociology student from Switzerland. I'm planing on spending the summer break in Porto. That's why I'm looking for a room or studio apartment to rent from early june till end of august/early september. I'd like it if the room was central, sunny and had free internet access. And I'm surely gonna take my guitar with me, so playing at the flat should be possible. And last but not least, the room shouldn't cost more than 400€/month.

Nils,. I have a friend that lives downtown, and is renting a room for  foreign students..playing guitar is ok :) as long as you don´t do it at sleep time :P He has just finished medicine and is the the residence year.
