Livin' la vida Erasmus!

Hi everyone, I'm Meghan and I'm from Vancouver, Canada! I'll be coming to Tours/UFR in September. I am currently a third year student in Sociology and French.

I've been to France before, but never to a smaller town like Tours so I'm excited to come on exchange and experience what it's like! I can't wait to do more travelling around France and the rest of Europe this year.

I  haven't decided yet whether I'll live in a flat with a roommate or if I should stay in university residences. What are your thoughts?

Looking forward to meeting more exchange students! :)

Hey guys! I will be at UFR first semester 2014/2015.

I'm curious to know if the majority of exchange students either stay in student residences or private accommodation? I'm tossing up between the two at the moment.

I'm super excited to meet everyone :)

Hi! It's Claudia, I'm from Valencia, Spain and I study History. I will go to Tours next year, and I have thought to live the first month in a student residence because I think it's difficult to search for an apartment from here.

Hi everyone!

Let me introduce myself:my name is Chiara, I come from Italy and I'm a Psychology student (postgraduate).... And I will spend the first half of next year in Tours!

I am very excited, but also a bit confused,in particular I am undecided about where to live. The easiest solution seems to be a university residence, but at the same time I think it would be a great experience to share a flat with other Erasmus students.

Unfortunately, finding a nice place with nice people is not always easy...

We could use this forum to share advices and information and... Who knows, maybe we could create a small group and look for an apartment together!

However, do not hesitate to contact me, it will be a pleasure!
