Hola a todos! Acabo de llegar a Sheffield, pero no estoy de erasmus, he venido a hacer parte del doctorado. Llegué el domingo y aun no conozco a nadie por aquí, si a alguien le apetece dar una vuelta o ir a tomar algo que me avise por aqui o por facebook (Raquel Mateo, aunq quizá haya bastantes...). También me parece muy buena idea lo de buscar un tandem y ayudar a algún nativo con el español y mejorar mi inglés un poco. Bueno, espero veros pronto!!!

Soy estudiante de traducción e interpretación y Sheffield es una de mis opciones erasmus para el curso que viene!
Quería informarme sobre que tal es el destino! si la vida es muy cara, y que tal es la universidad.

Hi Stefy (sorry my reply in English, my Spanish is pretty terrible!) I am a student at the University of Sheffield and I LOVE it! It is a really good student city, a lot cheaper than other student cities such as Manchester or London. The people are really friendly and the nightlife is amazing. The University itself is great with a really strong student community that especially embraces International students. There is a thriving erasmus community that will look after you well if you decide to come here. The only bad point I have to say about it is the weather, but that applies for the whole of England, not just Sheffield haha! I will answer anymore questions about the university if you have any! :)

Hola a todas/os, Yo también soy Erasmus y estoy por Sheffield. Llevo un mes de prácticas en una escuela. Aunque el alquiler que pago es muy barato pero necesito una casa mejor aclimatada, gente con la que quedar alguna vez y si es posible alquien con quien mejorar mi inglés. Si sabeis de alguien o me podeis ayudar os lo agradeceré.
