Hi all!
So glad there is a lot of people all over the world going to Istanbul !
My name is John, I live in Spain although I come from England, I´ll be studying Sociology at Istambul next year(september-june)
As I will be studing on the western side, I thought of looking for a place in Beyoglu, also looking for some erasmus flat-mates.
Thx for the turkish people to offer the help, we will be needing it soon haha.

BTW: The spanish students who are going to Istambul next year have created a FB group, it might be interesting to create one for all foreigners.

I am a teacher of English from Agadir, Morocco. I was waived a tuition of 1800 Euros to attend a summer program that will be organized by the Institute for World Literature( Harvard University) at Bilgi University. A friend of mine would like to know about renting opportunities closer to Bilgi University. Because I have never been to Bilgi University, I wonder what would be the closest neiborhood to rent in. Please let me now about any apartments closer to Bilgi University. I would be very pleased to meet you all next July.

Hi! i have free rooms in kurtköy. Rooms are fully furnished. Prices for single rooms 200€ and for shared rooms 150€(including bills) per month.The flat has 24 hours hot water and heating system, unlimited wireless internet connection, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, dish washer, fridge, micro wave,....etc...
okan uiversity -15 minutes
sabanci university -15 minutes
marmara university- 45 minutes (by one public transportation)
sabiha gokcen airpot-5 mintues
F1 istanbul-10 minutes
Viaport shopping and convenient hall-5 minutes

Hi everyone!
I'm currently studying at Utrecht University in Holland. I'm also planning to study at the Bogazici University in the fall semester. I'm planning to come to Istanbul in mid-august and start searching for a place at the same time. I'm not interested in staying in Bogazici's dorm so would be cool if we all can hang-out when we get in Istanbul and see if we can search for a place together.

Hey Soraya,
I'm currently studying at Sabancı University. Some of international students prefer to live in Kadıkoy, some stay in dorms. Actually I've been living in dorms for a long time and I feel like it's the best option so far because I have classes everyday (I mean weekdays of course), but sometimes international students have less courses to take, therefore it's better to stay in city center in this case. For further information dont hesitate to write me in private :)

Im going to be in Istanbul from June on erasmus at Yeditepe Üniversitesi with four friends. We are going to be looking for accomodation around that time. If you are in or near Yeditepe Üniversitesi then dont hesitate to add me on this. Would be nice to see some familiar faces; even better if your from London aswell. We all enjoy smoking shisha :D
