University quality (Marmara, Dogus)

Hello guys!

I am applying for an Erasmus exchange for the fall semestr 2015. I am considering the idea of going to Istanbul, especially because I would like to live in a different environment and experience a different culture and lifestyle.

Though, I am a little bit concerned about the quality of the teaching.

I am studying Political Sciences and I can apply to Marmara University or to Dogus University.

I would be very thankful if somebody could give me their opinion on these universities!

I wonder why anyone going to Turkey as a political science student would be concerned about the 'quality of the university'?  Just think of the quality of the political experience. I have been going to Turkey for the past couple of years and my interest is as a political sociologist.  I find language is the greatest challenge.  A more important question for you to ask is, 'how are my Turkish language skills?'   Do you already speak and read Turkish?  If not, is it easy for you to master a new language?

İ am studying political science in istanbul univercity, I think marmara is better than Dogus univercity.

Hey guys, Do we need to have English Proficiency Tests results ( TOFEL, IELTS) to apply at Marmara University for master degree in Economics? Would  appreciate your help.
