I am a girl from the Netherlands and I am studying French and Italian. I am going to Bordeaux Montaigne 3 in september. I just heard from Crous that I don't get a room on the campus. Is there anyone else who has the same problem and who is still looking for an accomodation?

Hey everyone! I'm a 20 year old girl from Wales and I'm going to be studying chemistry at Bordeaux 1 for the whole year.
I didn't get a place from CROUS either, has anyone had much luck with accomodation? At the moment I'm planning on getting a hostel and finding something once I'm there but having it sorted before I go would be much easier..

I'd be interested in looking together as well :) in the centre near the tramline would be ideal.. I'll be in bordeaux from the 19th august, does anyone know much about renting in france If you're not French/don't have a French bank account etc?

My friend and I are currently looking for accomadation but are finding it really hard especially since both of us barely speak french (we are hoping to learn on the spot haha). We are both coming out to france on the 26th of august with the hope of finding some place then and organise everything else such as banks and how to travel around everywhere. so if anyone wants to join us in our search for somewhere to live we would be extremely greatful or knows of anywhere that would be good to share already we would be eternally greatful.

Hiya, I'm a 20 y/o Welsh girl who'll be studying law this year at Bordeaux IV :) I've been ridiculously jammy and managed to get a room in Village 5 Renovee... anyone else in the same position or am I going to be in a flat by myself?!
Also, is anyone else doing this intensive French language week starting on the 25th August?

Woo a fellow Welshie! I'm in Bordeaux from the 3rd ready for the welcome meeting. Not sure about this language thing but I think we're assessed and that decides if we do it or not

Yessss, someone to watch the six nations with next spring :P There's an intensive course starting on the 25th but I dont know if its just people studying law and french or what it is... I just signed up for everything I could without paying much attention haha! Ah nice, that should be so useful for your french! I'm worried I'll just end up speaking English all the time in halls!

Hi guys! I'm going to Bordeaux 3 for the year, it would be cool to meet up with as many of you as possible when we all arrive! I think I've managed to get somewhere to live for the first month I'm there for and then will be organising something more permanent once I'm there. Unfortunately I can't get there until September 10th so am missing some important meetings and stuff that helps get people settled so I'm pretty worried at the moment! Hope you all manage to find somewhere!

Quite keen to get to know some fellow students Doing whatever (I'm doing law for the year at Bordeaux 4) Anyone about Saturday (tomorrow) or next week to meet up? not sure if my full name shows up here but if anyone's interested I can give you my details and we can meet up for a coffee or something in the centre :)
