Maybe fix two dates, one in September and another one the first week of October will be nice! Not everyone does the intensive course in September (my case :D).

I think the best way to find a house is by this: http://www.wg-gesucht.de/ But finding the right house is very difficult, so if you got the opportunity to take a house, take it, because your not the only one who showed up that day to see the house, i was the lucky one out of 30 people to get the house. And you have to be in Berlin because the people want to meet you before they say yes to you... if anyone need a place to stay for a couple days, let me know :)

Hi im erasmus student and i'm gonna study at TU Berlin since october :) but i arrive to berlin in september for a intensive german course, starts at 7.09. Anybody come with me?
cheers,
Paulina

Hi everyone, I'm going to be on HWR School in Berlin and i'm also attending intensiv deutschkurs.(starting from 16th September) I'll be living in Arisstotelesteig :) Is there anybody in the same location or something like that ?
cheers :)
Maria :)

Hi people, for those of you that are arriving in Berlin before the german intensive course to find a WG I can offer a room in a 2-bedroom house from now on until the 27. September, when my flatmate for the whole year is arriving. It's a very nice room (20m2) in Friedrichshain (Wedekindstrasse 17), close to the u-bahn stations Weberwiese, Wahrschauerstrasse and Ostbahnhof. You can see some photos of the house here: http://www.wg-gesucht.de/2859570.html?ma=1. (It costs 350€/month everything included). If you are interested, let me know.

I would fix a date for the beer in September and October if you want. The 14. Sept is OK for me.

Javi.

Hi Theresa and Julie!
I'm also going to study in Berlin this semester and i'm going all alone so i'm in for that meeting for a drink :)
I'll arrive on 21th to look for an apartment.
What about meeting us on 22th? It's Thursday, great night to hang out ;)
Cheers

I agree with Julie, there are some of us who arrive the first week of october.

Hello!

Any plans for September yet? :)

I have something to offer that might be interesting (mostly for IT and management students, but not only).

There is a "Agile & Lean" conference in Berlin (ALE2011) and I am looking for more student volunteers.
It's organized by ALE Network*, which in some sense have ideas similar to Erasmus ;)

Please have a look at event agenda: http://ale2011.eu/agenda/

As a student volunteer You can attend this event for free. This is a chance to learn, expand horizons, and meet people all across the Europe.

You can register here: http://tinyurl.com/ale2011-student

Questions? volunteers(at)ale2011.eu

Please pass the message, Thank You!
Greg

*( "The Agile Lean Europe (ALE) network is an open and evolving network of people (not businesses), with links to local communities and institutes. It helps people in European countries by spreading ideas and growing a collective memory of Agile and Lean thinking. And by exchanging interesting people with diverse perspectives across borders it allows beautiful results to emerge.") More: http://alenetwork.eu/vision/

Hi guys, I'm Santa, I'm from Naples (Italy). I'm studing at FU next winter semester... Is anyone going at FU ???

Hi, everyone! I will study in FU-Berlin, in winter semester 2011-2012.
I could not find any dormitory apart from Wohnheim Reichstrasse in Charlottenburg. Do you have any idea about it or is there anyone else who will stay there, also?

Hello everybody.

I'll be in HU Berlin for the whole year of 2011/2012. I plan on arriving around the 10th of september.
I looked for websites for flat rental, and i only found places you could rent for the day or the week, and only a few that you could rent for the year :/
Maybe WG is the best solution, maybe someone can advise me :) (i know I'm starting my research a little late...)

Adrien

Hello,

I am Paras, originally from India but living in London at the moment. I'll be at FU Berlin for the academic year 2011/2012.

I delayed things quite a bit so by the time I started looking most of the accommodation from the university had run out. So, I have reserved an apartment through the university for the first semester at Klüberstraße (http://www.fu-berlin.de/en/sites/unterbringung/optionen/apartment/klueber/index.html). It's expensive but beggars can't be choosers ;) Meanwhile, I'll look for a cheaper option for the next semester.

If people decide on a date in October for going for drink(s), I'd be more than up for it!

Cheers! Look forward to meeting you all!

Paras

14 sept date for the people that are already in Berlin? I think Weinerei (Wine bar) could be a good place. It's in Prenzlauer Berg and you pay 2 euros and you can drink all the wine you want, it's not high quality of course but....

What do you think?

Eso de verdad existe?!?!?!?!?!

I wanna tag along for some Berlin beer-sightseeing, moving in on saturday (3rd of sep).. Anybody in Berlin then :)?

Hi i'm coming to Berlin this october.I'll study law at FU.Is there anybody who is going to FU too?

Sí, existe... El vino es bastante malo, pero el plan no está mal. Quién se anima?

Hi there,
