Hello, Barcelona is quite expensive for an erasmus student, but it is really a wonderful place to be. Be prepared to be spoken in catalan instead of Spanish although you are foreigner. If you would like to save on rent try to find a nice room outside of Barcelona. Cerdanyola is 20 minutes by train and bus and quite reasonable. There are night buses so do not worry about staying late.
