Old friends that had been there had a good experience there.

What’s the student life like in Cardiff?

Very good student life.

Would you recommend the city and the university of Cardiff to other students?

I would absolutely recommend it.

What is the food like in this country?

It’s quite good, however I planned on cooking Spanish dishes often.

Did you find it difficult to find accommodation in Cardiff?

No. I stayed in student accommodation which there are normally a lot of. There may have been cheaper places but overall it was satisfying given that all the costs were included and situated right by the university and close to the town centre, so you save a lot on transport costs.

How much was the living cost in Cardiff?

Around £700 per month depending on your lifestyle. For me the most expensive part was the accommodation.

What was the language like? Did you attend any courses at university?

Quite good. I had to familiarize myself with people of other nationalities which helped a lot with learning the language.

What is economically the best way of travelling to Cardiff from your hometown?

In my case, I took the bus as far as Madrid. I took a plane from Madrid to Bristol. Once there I took the train to Cardiff.

Which places would you recommend in Cardiff for going out?

In the town centre there are lots of pubs and bars. Near the university there was a bar that I liked a lot called the Woodville.

In terms of food, which were your favorite places?

Cosmos, Woodville, Lloyds.

What were the cultural sites like?

The city has many interesting places like the castle, the bay, the museum as well as pretty parks and greens.
