I help foreigners to speak my language and understand my culture

My name is Maria and teaching Spanish is my passion since 1991.
Then I went to Germany to study at the university and to continue learning the language.

I soon realised the cultural differences.
Why do Germans say "Hallo" when they want to attract the attention of a stranger?

Then I realized that studying the language is not enough, you have to understand the culture and I take that very much into account in my classes.

From the beginning I worked teaching Spanish, first to adults at the Volkshochschule and then at the University of Heidelberg, Mannheim and Karlsruhe.

I studied at German as a Foreign Language and Romance Philology.

In 2003 I returned to Spain and have continued to teach Spanish to foreigners, newcomers with whom I have always felt very identified.

Executives from large companies or university students from America and other countries.

I have helped many foreigners to enjoy my language and culture.

I have spent time in Britain learning English, in Switzerland, Germany and in Austria.

I have always been interested in intercultural communication.

I know what it is like to arrive in a foreign country and be confronted with a language and culture that you often do not understand.

I have prepared my students for the Cervantes Institute examms and I am very patient.
