Yeah it makes sense, we're all having the same problem so we might as well look together. I know what you mean, I feel like my uni's just leaving me to fend for myself and don't really care! And I can't really agree to a place until I've seen it but I can't go anytime soon. I think I'm gonna have to join you in commuting from here too Lyon every day lol x

I emailed about another advert on appartager this morning with three rooms free. Literally a 5 minute walk from Lyon 3, and 270 euros/month inc charges. I just hope someone replies because that's the fifth I've sent and not had a reply from anyone yet. CROUS application finishes on the 22nd, if I don't find something before then, that's what I'm doing :( xx

As thibaud I'm a french student, I spent a year in Lyon 3 and i'm going to start a communication school. Lyon is such a great city!!
If you need any information don't hesitate..
To me, the best areas in Lyon are in the peninsula : between Hotel de Ville and Bellecour ( Perrache is horrible and I don't really like Croix rousse). I'm definitely in love with Cordeliers!!
the sixth arrondissement is nice, it is quieter, but don't go far away from Charpennes.. Part Dieu is well situated but i don't like it, it's not as beautiful as the center (in my opinion).
The undergroud is not huge, you can do everything by walk or by bike.

Hi, Im currently at surrey university going to Lyon 3 and moving out there next wednesday... anybody know of any erasmus facebook groups? it would be far easier to communicate with people and possibly set up drinks etc?
