I'm actually going there for a long weekend this summer to visit a good friend of mine who moved back home after university. I heard it's a lovely city. There is also a beach not far from the capital. But it's quite small and limited. Most of it is not like a beach, but more concrete planks, so not that nice. I heard if you want a beachy area you should go to Croatia instead.

the best way to spend time in Ljubljana (and the cheapest) is to stay in students dorm called Rozna dolina.

Hi fellow Erasmi ,

I am a Criminology student from Gent and will also be staying in Ljubljana from February until june and will attend the Faculty of Criminal justice and security.

I am looking for some accomodation during that period, a home shared with locals or Erasmus students or a studio in a student house would be what I prefer.

A private room is a must, shared equipped kitchen and room for a bike would also be a great plus.
