Hi..I live very close to IUE and will be in Italy-Pavia this September. I wish both of us an erasmus period with lots of fun :)

Regarding your question; It'll cost you about 700-800 TL to rent a 3 room house (including the saloon) and this will be very close to your university .

I dont suggest you to live far away from the university because it wont change your renting costs reasonably and also Balcova is a nice place to live (IUE is in Balcova state).

I have 1 free room in my fully furnished home. I am looking for a housemate especially , it would be great if i find an Erasmus friend. The house is Fully furnished (carpets, TV, PC, washing machine, dish washer, heaters, refrigerator, even hair dryer and goes on...) and good quality. Btw home is at the heart of Izmir. I have a house near by the Sea and 10 minutes far away from Alsancak (famous town in izmir) , İts also  very close to Yasar University (like 20 min by bus and bus stop is 2 min. by walk to my house) and Ege University like 25 min by bus or 10 min by metro (metro station is 10-15 min by walk or 5min by bus -- if you use two transportation in 90 min. second one will be free :) . my house full of furnitre (flat tv, washing machine, dish washing machine, hot water etc...) I'm working as a education consulatant in Alsancak and  I am a very adventures girl ;) I would be happy to share my house with international student. Room rent will be :250 € (including gas, electircity, water, cable tv, wi-fi)

Me and my two class mates - 3 persons in total, are looking for room for a not high price per month in Izmir to live when we will study the second semester (from february to may) at Izmir University.
