what´s best for an Erasmus student to live in the center of Lille or next to uni?

Hi I´m Laura I am from Madrid and next year 2019/2020 i´ll be studying Sociology in Lille as part of my Erasmus Program. But I´m not sure where to live, next to the city center or near my uni? Does someone know where International students usually stay?

And I think its best to live in the middle so you have a short ride with your bike to both Uni and city centre ;)
