hey pano,i am looking for a flat to live on my own too...do you think i can find one for 8500 kr??if they are more expensive than i will flatshare...and also i wanted to ask you with which flight company will you travel from athens to prague??have you seen the prices,they are extremely high..!!thats why i going in berlin first with easy jet and then by bus in prague..

and girls,we should arrange to stay at the same hostel the first days in prague so that we can get to know each other  and search  together for flats!i should be there on 20 february,even if i havent booked my ticket yet...

hey iva :) weird that i will speak english to you ,but thats the  rules :P ....i found one at the very center for 5500 with utilities...wtf too good to be true...i havent yet arranged the flight issue but i will post here to you as soon as i will make it out... i know they are too high with this fucking greek taxes....the others pay like 60 euro...keep in touch iva  ...we should make it out cause erasmus is finally too close :)

ok iva i figured out and bought my ticket for 168 euros...you should try airtickets site and search between 1-15 february ...i leave from athens at 14 february with a flight company called ''malev'' or sth like that...

168 is likely cheap for greek standars about airplanes flying to prague...

thanks pano for answering!!yeah i had searched in that site but i think in this case is way too expensive!!!so finally im going to book with easyjet  to milan and from milan to prague,it cost less than 90 euro...as for the flat you said before you had found,is so cheap that as u say too good to be true!!but lets hope we will find sth in the end....and we have all the exam period coming...it is going to be difficult to stay focused and think about prague at the same time!!!

iva thats cool:)  yeah too good to be true...actually its not a single appartment but a single room and u have to share the other rooms .:P not bad but if u want your privacy u go for the single one. the thing is i am so stressed cause i cant find anything for a single appartment ...time is running and last option is hostivar :P...so confused ...

guys i know there is an erasmus forum for flats and etc at facebook that things are going much faster ...

can anyone post me the link cause i just made a facebook account and i am completely lost :P

Hey Monika, i will be at AAU also. I arranged Kolej Strahov for myself. Actually it's not so good but if you could be lucky like me you may have a chance to stay in 8th Block(instead of whole corridor sharing bathroom only two rooms sharing bathroom in the 8th Block). Anyway since you are two people maybe staying in a flat would be better for you. See you at the orientation :)

what the fuuuuuck ...i have contacted all those admins for the erasmus official facebook group and no one of them adds me...they say just to give them 5 minutes but nothing happens :S ...and they say the help erasmus people...time is running out and i cant find a place to post my flats and flatsharing desires :S

please let me know.. it's really important for me becase time is counting and erasmus is getting closer and closer :))

Hello everybody!!! My name is Telma, i'm a law student in Lisbon, Portugal, and there is a big possibility of me going to charles university to study from september 2012 till december.

So, i was reading all your tips, and i have some questions, they might be silly but i rather check them with you, so:

- firstly i would like to know how much is the rent per month in Hostivar residencies?

- despite beeing a uk citizen, do i need any kind of visa?

- does anybody knows if the classes are difficult or if it's easy to get good grades?

- is it true that the cost of living is cheap? how much (more a less) would i need to live in prague?

but you can do some manama courses, which ofcourse are of a higher level :)
