Hi There! 

I'm Grace and i'm English, i'm moving to Florence in a few days to study at the Florence design academy to do Graphics. Anyone out there studying at FDA?  or studying Graphics? 

Also i am looking for accomodation and if anyone is studying at FDA and wanting to share then let me know!

Hi people of the world :) I'm a Belgian Erasmus student, I'm going to study languages at the UNIFI. I study English and Italian, so I speak French, English and I'm trying to improve my Italian, as my level is lower in that language. I've been here since tuesday 08 septembre, and I'd like to meet other students. It's difficult to meet people at the moment as the semester hasn't started yet :( So if someone wants to grab a coffee, go to a pub or something let me know. Would be nice to talk to other Erasmus students and get the adventure started!

Hi everyone! 

I have (possibly) found an appartment in Piazza salvemini, which is in the middle of the city centre.

It is a whole appartment though, and you can live there with 2 or 3 people. 

Therefore, i'm looking for a roommate to share it with! :)

I am a 20 year old history of art student from the Netherlands, my home univeristy is the university of Amsterdam. I am very neat and quiet, but i love to have a roommate to do lots of fun things with! 

The rent of the appartment is 800 + 'spese' (gas/light etc.), so if we share with 2 you will pay little above 400 euros per month.

Hi folks, Erasmus once, erasmus for ever, this is correct.But I can only recommend not to be under pressure before starting - it means - let is be! It is not a job where you have to organize everything otherwise...the Erasmus spirit flows away. Che sarà sarà says the song - I recommend this spirit. In my case I came to Florence and then I started looking for a room - then friends - then....what happened? During a pizza dinner with some friends of mine - new ones - I met Stephanie, a girl from Mexico, who were attending an Italian language school called Scuola Toscana -  on the corner with Santa Croce - best quartier! By chance I went with her one day - I tried a class for free and then I enroled there for an Italian language school! All levels available, tons of friends- parties...what else? With my surprise I learned Italian but - more important - I could find a room not too expensive and also I really started living among young universities students - lot of fun etc...So, when started Uni I really could better enjoyed it - it was simply marvellous - probably thanks to this school - nice guys - who really helped me. But of course I do not know if my story can suite every person and carachter.

I'll be in Florence from September 2016 to May 2017. I'll be doing Masters in interior designing(1 year) at Florence Design Academy.

Hello everyone, first of all thanks for creating this thread. Going thru all this has been very helpful for me. But still no one has answer that after paying the enrollment of 850euros to FDA, after how many working days did you guys got a confirmation reply from the college? coz im getting bit restless. And also once they prompt you to pay the enrollment fee, so finally it means that he/she has got the admission to the college and there wont be any cryptic evaluation or shortlisting candidateprocess pending.!
Rply to above queries would be appreciated. :) 
Ohh yes! im joining FDA next year sep. hope to see you there :)
