Welcome to Brno, you're gonna love this Erasmus! :) Don't worry, they will tell you everything when you get there and about the parties, I think you will know everything about it the minute you walk into your new room, people from VUT love to party. ;)

No prob :) well, there is the group of Masaryk University Exchange students ( I go to Masaryk), people sometimes post there the events, especially if there's some big event or when having parties in the dormitories. You can also like the pages of some clubs so you will know when they have special parties, usually they post in Czech and in English. You probably have the group of VUT students as well, try to find it. I would paste you the link to the group of Masaryk exchange but apparently I'm not allowed to do it on this page, so just search Masaryk University Exchange Students Spring 2013 on facebook, you'll find it. You have also the same group for Autumn 2012.

I'm Tatiana, a Spanish university Tourism's student. I'll go to Brno from February to June and I'll be studying on the Mendel University.

Would be nice if some of you guys has some information about the residences, cause I have no idea about that.
