I need some help, please.

I've been told by my home university that I've been selected to study at The University of Minho, and that I should wait for an email from Minho University. It's already the 5th of December and I still haven't heard a response.

I'm starting to think that maybe the people at my home university either didn't send the application or have been notified yet haven't informed me yet. They're notorious for sending links/requirements a day before they're due.

I've sent 4 emails to 4 different email addresses at Minho University and didn't get a single response. The registration for the 2nd semester has been open for a while and I'm basically stuck because I don't know if I'm spending the semester here or in Portugal.

I was THRILLED to find this website. Is there anyone from the University of Minho here with whom I can talk? Is it usual to take this long for a response? Thank you :)
