I will be for my fourth year... but I guess I'll need another one in Spain to finish some subjects.
Lidia Ramírez Napisano 13 lat temu
I will be in Prague for my fourth year as well, but I'll need another in Spain as Anaïs, to finish 4 subjects
Josh Bell Napisano 13 lat temu
I'm second year at the moment so will only be allowed to do the first semester of my final year, I think I may be trying to find ways of staying longer from the looks of things though....!
Nadina Elekse Napisano 13 lat temu
Same situation here....
Brendan McLoughlin Napisano 13 lat temu
I'm in second year atm, my course is normally three years long, but if you go on erasmus it becomes four year
Hey Lidia! Well, I won't be studying a course exactly.....I just have to pick enough modules outa the faculty of social sciences to study next year to pass my year.....so in Ireland my course is Economics, Politics and Law but when I'm in Prague I have no idea what i'm going to study yet...I've picked a few modules so I think it's gonna mostly by economics, with some law. Its all very confusing trying to pick modules to do
Constanza Masini Napisano 13 lat temu

Hi Esther Welcome in!!!:)
Lidia Ramírez Napisano 13 lat temu
Hey Brendan! I have been searching on the university website, because I'm studying audiovisual communication, but in Charles University, my degree it's not the same :S So I will pick some journalism subjects, and also I'll look subjects from other faculties, because I have asked to my Erasmus coordinator and I can do it :)
Anaïs Ramírez Napisano 13 lat temu
Lidia I think there's a degree about Cinema in the faculty of Arts...

Lidia Ramírez Napisano 13 lat temu
Thanks Anaïs! but there's only ine subject taught in English, I'll probably take for the learning agreement :)
Brendan McLoughlin Napisano 13 lat temu
hey Constanza,
I have no idea what modules i'm gonna pick yet. I've been looking through the list of subjects thought through english in the Social sciences faculty but there doesnt seem to be great choice of bachelor degree modules. I'm gonna have to talk to my erasmus coordinator and see if i can pick any of the masters subjects...that would broaden my choice a lot
Have you picked any?

Hello everyone! I'm going to Prague in September as well as you. I currently study chemical engineering and I'll be at the ICT (Institute of Chemical Technology) next course. My main worry is the accommodation as I don't want to share a room with someone else. So, I'm writing this to collect some information about residences, hostels or flats that offer single rooms. If you know something about this, please let me know.
I hope we will see each other in Prague and have a great trime there!
Anaïs Ramírez Napisano 13 lat temu
I'm afraid you have to share a room in all residences! The only way is private accommodation (sharing a flat)
Francisco Manuel Napisano 13 lat temu
I understand that the Hostivar residence offers single rooms, am I wrong? Is anybody going there?
Anaïs Ramírez Napisano 13 lat temu
Nope, there are no single rooms at Hostivar. Almost everybody from the Charles U. will go there.

Hi Francisco,
fror example I'll be going at the MUP which has non Dorms.....so I'll be looking for a flat. The best thing to do that I have been told are:
Or going in Prague this summer in a week end....and look for a flat! Or spend the first few weeks in a cheap hostel like Strahov, which are full of students in our same situation:), and in the meanwhile look after a flat.
Anyway when will get there I hope will be able to meet each other and figure something out togheter!
Beside this where are you going to study?
Francisco Manuel Napisano 13 lat temu
Hi Francesco,
I'm going to the Institute of Chemical Technology. This university offers accommodation in two residences, (Volha or Sazava), but that means sharing room as there are no single rooms in these places. I believe I'll be looking for a room in a flat the next days. This web is good for that.
Ana López Napisano 13 lat temu
Hi guys!
I think that it's better looking for a flat while you are in Prague, not before, like Francesco says. My university doesn't have dormitories and I want to find something to stay first days, maybe Strahov could be a good option.
When do you arrive to Prague? I'll go 14th September, + or - . Maybe we can try to find a flat together to share it! Would u?
Francesco Ricci Napisano 13 lat temu
I still do not know if I'll be there the winter or summer semester, but in case I'll get there in september I think that it can be done! I'll let ya'll know as soon as I'll talk with my tutor :)
