Oh, a new student! =D
When you arrive to Gatwick you'll easily see a desk where they sell train tickets. You should ask for a train to Egham, which is 14.60 pounds. Then you'll have to take a train in Gatwick for London Victoria, but you'll have to change at Clapham Junction. There you'll have to tak another train for Reading, but leave at Egham. The journey takes about 1:15 minutes. You can check it by yourself in http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
Most people is going back to the Royal between the 7th and the 9th of january, so it's probable that you don't find a lot of people the 1st day, but don't worry. There are loads of Italian Students, so you'll feel like at home haha. We're looking forward for your arrival! =)

I'll just tell you that it started snowing this morning and it hasn't stopped yet! :D :D :D

Wooow ! :)
Are you living at College or in a private house in Egham ? RHUL offered me a place at Founders :)
What is cheaper between them ? And what do you think it's better ? I'd like to live at College but I don't know if live outside can be cheaper but less comfortable .. I don't know :(

Living in campus is better. Besides, living in Founders is very cheap and you socialise a lot. On the other hand, the quality of the accommodation in Founders could be better, but i think it's worthy living on campus rather than away.
Btw, on Wednesday it snowed so so much and today everything is still completely white *_*

I accepted Founders ! :)
I'm cominggggg ! If the snow stops and the airport reopens ! :))

Hi Martina! You have to take a train from gatwick airport to clapham junction and then from clapham junction to egham station. When you come out of arrivals at the airport there is a help point where they can tell you from which platform you can take the train, and you can also buy the ticket. You can also buy it from http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk/ From Egham station you can walk or take the 441 or 71 bus (very close to the station) to the campus. It's easy and simple =), I've done it a couple times already, so don't worry about it! What are u going to study at RHUL?

Hi! I am Lara Rondinini and I won erasmus scholarship for 9 months at RHUL for the next year.
But I have a problem: I am not sure to have the possibility to financially support myself in uk for all 9 months; If I have problem, can I stop my Erasmus period around February? Can I give exams of Autumn term courses in Jenuary-Februray instead of May? I know that some UK universities don't give possibility to stop before your period of 9 months. Manyu thanks
