there is an add here which is a bit strange-it´s an apartment in copenhagen for 390 euros/month all the bills includeed. it was posted 1 month ago. I contacted the owner (Kate Williams) and she very kindly told me that her apartment was occupied but she has a friend who has an apartment to rent. His name is Jonas Hauger and he send me few emails talking about himself and asking me about myself.... the strange thing was that he wasn´t in Copenhagen to show me the flat and he wanted me to pay him in advance 4000DKK deposit and one month rent 3000DKK and then he´d send me the keys.... he wanted me to pay him by western union on behalf of a really suspicious name .... I told him that I can put in his own bank account no more than 1000DKK and once I could see the flat I would put in his own bank account the rest but no early than that..... I didn´t hear about him since then.... so I think that all of this is a fraud.... I don´t knoe if Kate Williamson is awared of this but she was the one who gave me Jonas´email. I didn´t send him any money.
Thanks for reading
kind regards
Marta

As soon as people 'are not in Copenhagen' and want you to pay before you have been able to visit the flat, and will sent you the keys, all alarm bells should be ringing because most likely there is no flat....

In my case the person who wanted to rent his flat sent me pictures of a flat but he wanted a lot of money in advance and he didn't want the payment by bank account..... That is why I thought that it was a fraud. He told me that he wasn't in Copenhagen but as soon he received the payment he will send me the keys.... As soon as I told him that I wanted to see the flat first I didn't hear a word from him again.
Be careful with the people that want the money in advance without show you the flat first.
