Hello people! I'm considering seriously to pick Aarhus as one of my choices to do Erasmus next year (2011/2012). Can someone give me any information such as prices, acessibility to the places, how hard is to get a place to stay, parties... and all the sorts of things that an erasmus strudent needs to know?
Thanks for the attention!

hi! i'm in arhus now, maybe you already got the information, but... Denmark is expensive, really really expensive but the fact is..we also take some benefits from the welfare state.. for example the average of the rent is more or less 300 € with internet, water, electricity and laundry included.. i think if u care about your expenses in transport (get a bike..), cook and drink at home and look carefully what you buy... with 700-800 € you should have enough..then ...it always depends on your lifestyle...
Find hosting is really easy, if u apply on time, the uni here finds a place for you according to the requirements that u specify; parties, well the city centre has lots of cafés and pubs and some clubs..but you'll discover that there's a lot of internationals and the kind of parties you'll assist would be at residences and also events organised by the university.

Sonia, thank you so much for your tips! I'll consider them when the time to choose my destimation comes... It's always nice to get an answer from someone who's actually in the place you want to know better, there's nothing better than an opinion like the one you gave me. Once more thank you :)
