Erasmus Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 2013 / 2014 (English)

Hola, yo vivo en Gáldar, Las Palmas. Voy a la universidad de Las Palmas de Gran canaria, pero la universidad tiene 4 sedes:

· La primera sede es "Tafira", ahi están las facultades de ingenierías, ciencias básicas, ciencias jurídicas, derecho, economía, empresariales, telecomunicaciones, arquitectura...

· La segunda sede es en el "Obelisco", ahí están las facultades de magisterio, filología, traducción e interpretación, lenguas moderna....

· La tercera sede está en "Arucas", very far of the center (:S), y es donde se encuentra la faculta de veterianaria, ya que es una zona donde tienen muchos animales.

·La cuarta sede está en "Campus de San José", que es donde esta el Hospital Materno Infantil, y es donde está las facultades de enfermería y medicina.

Mucha suerte a todos, si necesitais ayuda podeís contar conmigo, yo estudio en la facultad de ingeniería (Tafira).

En Tafira es donde estan las residencias y los pisos universitarios. Pero mi consejo es que se busquen un piso en el CENTRO, porque es donde esta todo: tiendas, supermercados, fiestas....

El campus del Obelisco está en el centro de la ciudad, el campus de San José está a las afueras... y para ir al campus de Tafira, hay guaguas cada 10 minutos, (25, 7, 27), que tardan entre 10 y 15 min en llegar al campus. El pasaje cuesta un 1.20 por trayecto pero es bastante cómodo...

I think here its the list of subjects, click on Academic Info----->Planes de Estudio por Centro----->Titulaciones Grado y Master------> then you choose your faculty

I think its not up to date, but still when you arrive, you can change your learning agreement

from London to Las Palmas i paid about 450zł. From Warsaw to London about 500zł. Its still cheaper than direct flight from Warsaw to Las Palmas. I'm going alone because i'm in London right now - earning for good fun in LP :)

Welcome to the island everybody! My name is Laura, I am 24 years old, I am from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and live here. I would like to practice my English with anybody English-speaking (or someone who speaks in English pretty well), and if she/he wants it, I could talk in my native language as well, helping her/him with her/his Spanish. We could drink a cafe or a beer or go for a walk for anywhere in the city. Is someone interested? :)

Hi everybody,
i am mathematics student (last year of master degree ) from Split, Croatia. I applied for Erasmus internship program and now i am trying to find some work placement in Las Palmas from November 2013 to March 2014. So i was wondering if maybe somebody knows some companies or universities (in field of mathematics and statistics) that could hire me or at least some webpage with list of companies where i can search for internship on my own?
