yes its true :p you are lucky because you dont need visa , but we must take a visa :(

Hi all,
My name's Ruairí, from University of Limerick in Ireland, going to Charles University next September hoping to study English, Creative Writing, and maybe something film-related!
Like the ass I am I've left a lot of the forms 'til the last minute, but I should be OK. Looks like I'll be staying in Hostivar, too - was wary about it until I saw that so many of you will be doing the same, might actually make it fun!

Francesco: be in touch with ppl who rent an aprtment in September...they could have some place. You could also live with Czech students...

I will be at the faculty of education studying English too :) I guess you will stay at the faculty of arts?
Francesco I suppose there will be some people renting a flat only for the first semester and for the whole year at the same apartment, so you can join them in february when that person leaves! We won't let you stay under a bridge, don't worry hahah

Yup, Faculty of Arts it is! Any idea what specific English subjects you want to study yet?
Francesco, I'd imagine there would be a lot of places freeing up for the new year as first semester students go home - all the other students I'm going with are only there for one semester, anyway!

They let me do a couple of subjects there as it is not my faculty... I will be doing History of the English Language for Erasmus... I wanted to do Spanish Literature of the 20th c. but my teacher does not want me to do it lol
I want to do mostly literature and some subjects on phonetics and phonology and linguistics... But yeah mostly literature :)

Çağatay Özdemir: Ústí?:D Its considered to be one of the worst towns in Czech Republic. There is nothing to do...except going to ice hockey and drinking (half prices than Prague)...

yeah i know that city is not like a heaven but i don't have any other choices :) because only the course which is in Usti starts on september and it's end is the closest one to my school's starting date. Im not interested in ice hokey but drinking can make my days there ;D
