Hi.
I am a software engineer from India, with close to 8 years of IT experience. Now, I wish to change my stream and wish to enroll for the one year Interior Design Course at FDA. I wrote to them asking for the list of documents that I need to submit. Apparently, I need to send them the following-
1. Bachelor degree
2. Transcripts
3. Portfolio (pdf format and not more then 10 megabyte of size)
4. Curriculum vitae that describes your past studies, abilities, professional background (if you have work experience), strengths and reason you want to study at the FDA
I would like to know what exactly do they expect in the Portfolio. Could anyone please shed some light on this? I'd be really grateful for any help on this.
TIA! :)

Ishika Sinha, why so brain drained?
And anything is possible, if you put your mind to it. Just do what's required.

Leena Joshi, what the institute is looking for in a portfolio is your design work you've done throught out your college academic period. Since, you were another stream, you should explain your situation to the institute, and then enquire them about if you still need to send a portfolio, and if they insist, then ask them what should be there in the portfolio, and then ask yourself what (Design relevant) projects can you compile to make that portfolio.

Hi All. Could anyone (student/alumni of the FDA) please share a few insights about the academy with respect to the institute's overall ranking, professors, placements, etc? Would really appreciate that. TIA.

Hi, I'm looking at the SEPT2019/JAN 2020 session.
Can any student already attending classes at FDA please shed light on the following aspects :
- If FDA is accredited, which organization has offered accreditation to it?
- How much living expense per year does one incur at Florence?
- Is there a way to save significant money on living expenses by living in the suburbs than in the heart of the city?
- Does the FDA tag carry high favourability in employment prospects around UK/Europe? (like IT companies lap up Ivy League graduates)
- How does the credits system work at FDA?
