Gdansk summer semester

Hi , i´m from Spain. I´m going to the politechnika of gdansk on summer semester to study informatics. I have the option of having a bed in the residence of the politechnika but i don´t know if is a better option than a flat. Please help, and if someone is looking for a new roomate, contact with me.
