Overview
Companies now have more options than ever to promote their products and brands. Practical knowledge of design, current trends and how they affect corporate practices is quickly becoming a key component of running a successful organization. Through this program, students will develop their creative thinking skills and gain a general understanding of design history and esthetics while learning how to best apply them to business and productive management practices.
Degree Awarded
A university master’s degree awarded by Universidad CatĂłlica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), (tĂtulo propio), a state-recognized university in Spain.
A master's degree from EU Business School Switzerland which is internationally accredited by ACBSP, IACBE, IQA and certified by eduQua.
Dual Qualification
Students studying an EU MBA program have the opportunity to earn a second distinct qualification, a state-accredited degree from the London Metropolitan University, U. K. Students with less than two years' professional experience may earn a U. K. state-accredited MSc in International Management while students with more than two years' experience may earn a U. K. state-accredited MBA. For both degrees, students are required to complete 120 ECTS. This is achieved through the completion of a final EU business competency simulation and a University of Roehampton dissertation in addition to the regular EU MBA coursework. Both qualifications can be earned in one year of full-time study or two years, part-time.

Program Structure
The MBA in Design Management (90 ECTS) is a one-year, three-term degree. Students complete five to six course modules per term which are combined with seminars, company visits, guest speaker sessions and case studies among others. In order to graduate, students must complete a management research methods module and a dissertation. This program is also available as a two-year, six-term, part-time degree.
Learning Outcomes
Design management graduates enter the market with a diverse skill set that will enable them to discern a good design idea from one that will not work in the current market. Students will also:

Account managers in a design agency act as the bridge between a client and an agency’s design team. Design Manager
Design managers will develop and manage design strategies and ensure that they are successfully implemented through project management. They will oversee design teams ensuring that team members are aware of timings, deliverables and project objectives. They typically work with marketing departments to understand of a project’s objectives and needs.
Brand Consultant
Brand consultants will have an in-depth understanding of business and an organization’s brand. Through analysis and marketing knowledge, these professionals will develop and help marketing teams implement strategies and actions for higher brand impact and results. Their tasks may include packaging design, logo and advertising campaigns, among others.
Marketing Manager in the Luxury Sector
A strong brand image and unique positioning are elements of a luxury brand which enable companies to maintain a premium price point and create a unique brand identity. Marketing managers in luxury are responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies and, as well as budgeting, monitoring sales evolution and reporting, they will design advertising and promotional campaigns to engage with their target.
